Coming home

As a kid I never thought I ever leave the place I called home
The one day the urge just came and I never thought I ever would return
I’ve been traveling all around, seen the sights every major town
I took the back roads not to get lost, stopping where I felt my heart belonged
Home, I’m coming home
Home, to where I came from
Home, back to you, you, you
Home, to where I belong
I’ve been gone for many years, tried to settle down here and there
Never seemed to stick around, always had to leave something behind
Home, I’m coming home
Home, to where I came from
Home, back to you, you, you
Home, to where I belong
I came of age, my hair turned grey and suddenly my views started to change
Family, roots and home became more important than to keep moving on
Home, I’m coming home
Home, to where I came from
Home, back to you, you, you
Home, to where I belong

When I was young I didn’t know
Who to trust or where to go
Spent most days on my own
I was known as a lonely soul
I thought my days were to come
I was as right as I was wrong
But then one day you realize
Half of those days has already passed
It’s never too late to start all over, pack your bags and be gone
Never settle just keep on going, soon your day will surely come
And if you are a lucky man
That day won't come too late
Just stand up and be brave
Leave all your fears behind
It’s never too late to start all over, pack your bags and be gone
Never settle just keep on going, soon your day will surely come
…Pack your bags and be gone
…Soon your day will surely come
When you are old and all alone
I hope that life did treat you well
That you were loved and lived you share
Because it’s too late to turn back now
It’s never too late to start all over, pack your bags and be gone
Never settle just keep on going, soon your day will surely come

Only one chance to make this right
Trying to get through the long cold night
The harshest winter in a hundred years
I just wish we will last to spring
I had to leave and you were left behind
The men were sent out to gather what they could find
I wish you could still be here with me
How could I’ve been so stupid to leave
Oh my love, we are back here again
Oh my love, where are you now
I’m standing tall, over the ones that have fallen
Shading my eyes with my hand
Oh see the sun, is already rising
And where are you, my love
A few of us managed to return at last
Not much more to show than when we left
This place looks so different now
Please don’t say it’s too late
Oh my love, we are back here again
Oh my love, where are you now
I’m standing tall, over the ones that have fallen
Shading my eyes with my hand
Oh see the sun, is already rising
And where are you, my love

We got to keep on moving

Well I guess we've been rambling,
We've been rambling for way way too long
Well I’ll guess it's been worth it
All the people we have known
Oh you got to keep on moving
Or you’ll get left behind
There is always room for, one more thing
To find the love of your life, your life, and to settle down
Well I’ll guess we’ve been moving
We've been moving for way way too long
Well I’ll guess it's been worth it
All the places we've seen
Oh you got to keep on moving
Or you’ll get left behind
There is always room for, one more thing
To find the love of your life, your life, and to settle down
Well I’ll guess we’ve been running
We've been running for way way too long
Well I’ll guess it's been worth it
All the secrets we have learned
Oh you got to keep on moving
Or you’ll get left behind
There is always room for, one more thing
To find the love of your life, your life, and to settle down
Well I know a place,
A beautiful place by a lake
And if you still love we me
Then we could settle down there
Oh you got to keep on moving
Or you’ll get left behind
There is always room for, one more thing
To find the love of your life, your life, and to settle down
